This is a polished Emperador Brown marble vanity in need of crack repair.
The crack ran the depth of the vanity. I used 3 different epoxy color tints to mimic the movement of the veining in the stone. The crack was overfilled, sanded flat with hand machinery, and the entire top was polished for a consistent finish.
Blending repairs
The picture above shows a crack that was repaired to the left of the faucet compared to the original natural veining of the marble on the right hand side of the faucet. The end goal is for the repair to look as natural to the piece as possible.
When restoring marble vanities, I polish and detail the fixtures and sinks also. It’s one of those “special” touches I like to include.
